Dendy is a Taiwanese made famiclone that was produced for the Russian market. It was released in the early 1990s by a company called Steepler Co. Due to Nintendo not releasing the NES officialy there, the Dendy became a popular home console in Russia, & enjoyed a lot of fame. It is now a meme on the internet(an obscure one at that), & became a main thing when talking about famiclones.
