E, or e, is the fifth letter and the second vowel letter in the Latin alphabet, used in the modern English alphabet, the alphabets of other western European languages and others worldwide. Its name in English is e, plural es, Es or E's. It is the most commonly used letter in many languages, including Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Hungarian, Latin, Latvian, Norwegian, Spanish, and Swedish.
The E meme is a deep fried meme that debuted on April 11, 2018. This deep fried meme consists of a Photoshoped image which features a head shot of Lord Farquaad from the 2001 animated movie Shrek merged with the face of famous gaming YouTuber Markiplier. The meme lasted for one month before becoming a dead meme, but its popularity continued for a few months after before fully becoming a dead meme. It is occasionally still used by some memers.
The image was first posted on May 25, 2015 by former YouTuber Cyndago.
A deep-fried version of Cyndago post was posted on Tumblr on February 15, 2018.
Another photo, now mixed with Mark Zuckerberg body posted on /r/deepfriedmemes has gained 18.9k upvotes
