Epic Sax Guy is a man playing a solo from the song Run Away by SunStroke Project and Olia Tira on a saxophone.
History[]
The first appearance was in a Eurovision song contest on YouTube called "Sunstroke Project & Olia Tira - Run Away (Moldova) Live 2010 Eurovision Song Contest" at 0:47. After that, people started reuploading the saxophone part. Then, they made a Facebook page called "Epic sax guy" on May 29, 2010. Then, a website where the solo is repeated was made, known as saxrolled.com. Then, a mobile saxrolling app came to life. SunStroke Project also released a song called Epic Sax.
Later, in 2017, He performed a song with Sunstroke Project but with the new melody. NJ mag posted an article that day titled "The Hero We Need - Epic Sax Guy Has Returned".
There were 10 hour uploads of the new solo and this is where the meme starts.
