The meme started recurring back in 2017 and was created from October 2, 2014 by YouTuber Fried Chili Cheese Dogs for a joke about reviewing SpongeBob toys. During the joke, several scenes appear which state the following, "HAVE A BOWL MR. SQUIDWARD, DIG A HOLE MR. SQUIDWARD, TAKE A STROLL MR. SQUIDWARD, YOUR ARMS ARE SWOLE MR. SQUIDWARD, WHACK A MOLE MR. SQUIDWARD, PAY THE TOLL MR. SQUIDWARD, SCORE A GOAL MR. SQUIDWARD.", which Mr. Krabs and Squidward plush are seen doing in multiple scenes.

In February 2015, a Klasky-Csupo parody user, LolmanXD444 aka Lolman The Object Thingy, remixed Have A Bowl Mr. Squidward video, and added the Oh Yeah Mr. Krabs scream at the ending.
In 2016, the video was reuploaded on YouTube, and uploaded on Vine.
