"Auugggghhhhhhh-" -Lego Star Wars Yoda

The Lego Star Wars franchise is a video game series based on the Lego Star Wars toy line. There are five games in the series but normally the memes are based on the first few games.

Lego Yoda[]

Lego Yoda memes take a clip of someone's death (normally from a show or movie) and replace their scream with the scream of Lego Yoda. These memes were very popular in late 2018-mid 2019.

Rise on TikTok[]

Around the beginning of the newly minted 2020 year, Lego Star Wars gained traction on TikTok as people changed their profile pictures to in game character icons of the characters or modified versions. Modified version would include features that wouldn't normally be there such as hair from that person or possibly other LEGO franchises. For example, the Orlando Magic's official TikTok account updated their profile picture to a basketball player. Popular Tik Tok pages that changed their profile pictures included Charli D'Amelio, Lil Huddy, Benny the Bull, and many other types of accounts, both personal and branded. It was common for popular Tik-Tokers to be bombarded with comments to change their profile picture to a Star Wars PFP. Numerous efforts were put to expand the LSU PFP campaign outside of TikTok, but to no avail. The LSU PFP campaign died out near late February, but not without leaving traces of the legacy and impact it had on TikTok and what could happen if you can start a new trend.

A lot of profile picture trends were similar to the LSU PFP campaign, notably the Ya Like Jazz and Puffle gangs, but mostly weren't as popular or gained as much as a reach as LSU.

Childhood[]

Some memes reference Lego Star Wars games as in the "If you remember this you deserve a veterans discount" meme.
