The Nani meme originated from a Japanese anime that can be seen posted on YouTube by Luis Guardo on October 7th, 2017. It can be heard as "Omae wa mou shindeiru. NANI?!" In English that translates to "You are already dead. WHAT?!" The meme is still popular to this day. It has been used as an exclamation or a line in other YouTube videos. For example, the Japanese version of the line is used in TerminalMontage's "Something About Super Smash Bros. ANIMATED" video on Youtube.
