OMG Run Guy, also known as Tampon Head, is a rage comic character depicting a man with a white cylindrical head and twisted arms running in fear. The photo is often used to display terror him and/or being very excited or similar expression.
History[]
The origin of OMG RUN Guy is currently unknown. On March 30, 2010, JoyReactor user anonymously uploaded a collection of Rage Comics featuring OMG RUN Guy. This is the earliest known collection of the character.
Web usage[]
OMG RUN Guy appears in many Rage Comics made throughout the 2010s, used to represent characters running for various reasons or showing excitement. On November 14, 2011, an anonymous user posted a Rage Comic featuring the character to Imgur. The face has slowly integrated itself into the rage comic ecosystem – having appeared in a number of comics alongside other, more common faces. The face has also been added to the rage-maker site ragemaker.net under the "miscellaneous" category. There is also a female equivalent, similar in design to other female variations of rage faces.
