"Sour Cream" is a misheard catchphrase meme by Taco from Inanimate Insanity. The meme was used in surrealistic humor way as the character in question implies that she likes the sour cream flavor.

The meme appeared in American animated reality TV show Inanimate Insanity since its beginning on episode 1 and is mentioned throughout season 1, in which Taco stated that she will shout "SOUND CREAM!!!!" when she gets out in an "elephant poo" pool. Due to part of her quote "sound" bearing the similar pronunciation to "sour", the phrase was misheard as "SOUR CREAM". The quote was made by duncanepic/Animationepic in April 1, 2011.
The post where KaydenCDavs posted on GAMEJOLT is originally on the account where taco appeared in the gif through in the group chat Kayden joined earlier. Even the text on top was the text saying "SOUR CREAM" and the gif was animated as well.[1]
