yay im a chair (full name: Monty Lightning McChair) is a meme that was created on summer of 2022 from a Scratch project by a user called CarsinMinecraft (now only active on the alt CarsinReal). It's a Lightning McQueen chair saying the phrase "yay I'm a chair!". However, it traces its origins on the earlier popular Reddit post "Yay! I'm a Chair!", uploaded dating January 4, 2012 on r/funny by a Reddit user man_in_the_mirra.[1] Over the years, people made multiple variations of it on Scratch and outside of it. It was possible to buy on the Walmart website for $57, but now it's sold out. On 31 December 2024, a version of Minecraft called ChairCraft was made and it was made by remix chaining (remixing a remix of a remix of a remix and so on). Many other remix chains were made from Carsin's yay im a chair project, with the first one probably being yay im a chair densities.
